“Since adoption of abovementioned decision, 60 out of 80 territorial planning documents submitted by local executive authorities of Baku city have been agreed by the State Committee for Town Building and Architecture. This means 245 high-rise buildings or 25,000 apartments with the total area of 2.6 million square meters. Tearing down and evacuation works have already been started. At the same time, tens of high-rise buildings are already being constructed. If this project is implemented at the current pace, it will be successful”, he said.
