Azerbaijan to produce new armed drone capable of destroying military facilities and equipment

Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense Industry has begun intensive work to produce “Zarba-KH” armed drone (with a cumulative warhead), capable of detecting and destroying the enemy’s living force, military facilities and equipment.

“Zarba-KH” is a new type of the local-made “Zarba-KM” drone, the serial production of which was started after being tested successfully and unveiled in 2016, it was announced at today’s board meeting of Azerbaijan’s Defense Industry Ministry on the results of the first quarter of 2017, APA reported.

It was noted that Azerbaijan’s Defense Industry Ministry is expected to produce "Yalquzaq" sniper rifle, which has already been recommended for the army, special submachine guns, automatic grenade launcher complexes, hand grenade launchers, different automatic rifles, F-1 hand grenades, etc.

Moreover, a new electromagnetic impulse device placed on armed vehicles and a powerful electromagnetic aviation bomb are being developed.
