Fourth meeting of Azerbaijan-Russia joint commission on demarcation kicks off in Baku

The 4th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Russia Joint Commission on Demarcation kicked off in Baku April 13.

The Azerbaijani delegation is led by Deputy Foreign Minister, Chairman of the State Commission on demarcation of state border between Azerbaijan and Russia Khalaf Khalafov, while the Russian delegation is led by Vadim Viktorovich Postnov, Co-Chair of the Azerbaijan-Russia Joint Commission on Demarcation.

Members of state commissions, government officials and experts of both countries, as well as heads of border districts are attending in the meeting.

The meeting will discuss issues related to the demarcation of the Azerbaijani-Russian state border and the work carried out to date. Furthermore, the Joint Commission is expected to approve the draft instructions on the rules for drawing up a descriptive protocol on crossing the state border between Azerbaijan and Russia.

The Joint Commission’s meeting will last until April 17.
