The next round of talks on a new agreement between the European Union and Azerbaijan will be held in Baku on April 25, the EU Baku Office told APA.
During the meeting, the sides will discuss the document which had been submitted by Azerbaijan and for which the EU proposes amendments.
The talks will primarily cover political issues.
The head of the EU delegation on the talks is a member of the European External Action Service Luc Devigne.
The European Council adopted a mandate for the European Commission and the high representative for foreign affairs and security policy to negotiate, on behalf of the EU and its member states, a comprehensive agreement with Azerbaijan in November 2016.
