The resolutions passed in order to put an end to the occupation of Palestine and Nagorno-Karabakh must be implemented, said Saudi Arabia's Prince Turki al-Faisal, Chairman of King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies.
He made the remarks addressing a panel discussion entitled “The Future of International Relations”, held as part of the Fifth Global Baku Forum on March 16, APA reported.
“As we have already seen in light of the Syrian and Nagorno-Karabakh conflicts, the powerlessness of the international community and the reluctance of the US and Russia to resolve these conflicts have brought on far greater problems. A new idea is required of UN member countries and the five permanent members of the UN Security Council,” said the Saudi prince.
Turki al-Faisal noted that power should be shared by a number of centers.
