The proposal put forward in the parliament on erecting a Genocide Memorial in the Alley of Martyrs is welcomed. However, our main goal is to legally punish the perpetrators of the Khojaly genocide.
Deputy Prime Minister, Deputy Chairman and Executive Secretary of New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) Ali Ahmadov made the remarks on Febr.25, APA reports.
He said that the Azerbaijani state is taking all the necessary steps to improve the living conditions of families of the Karabakh war victims and the people affected by the war. “All assistance is provided to the people who became homeless as a result of the Khojaly genocide. I guess that all the necessary measures have been done”, said the deputy prime minister.
