The liquidation commission for the Qafqaz University completed its work yesterday, Jasarat Valiyev, spokesman for the Azerbaijani Ministry of Education, told APA.
From yesterday on, students of the Qafqaz University will resume their education at the Baku Engineering University, according to the spokesman.
Valehov gave information about the results of the winter exam sessions for 2016/2017 academic year.
The ministry official said after conducting analyzes, the results of various educational institutions will be submitted to the relevant department of the Ministry of Education.
“Winter exam sessions were organized under the order of Education Minister Mikayil Jabbarov, public representatives, media leaders and MPs observed the exams. Their participation in the exam session indicated transparency of the process. The appeals made to “hot line” of the ministry are also analyzed and generalized. The number of applications on negative cases, illegal payments during exam sessions in higher education institutions and specialized secondary schools significantly decreased in recent years, compared to previous years,” he added.
