The Qafqaz University has been liquidated upon the decision of its founder Azerbaijan International Education Complex, the university has said in a statement to APA on Wednesday.
“A liquidation commission created by the founder is supervising over the liquidation process in accordance with the law and this was officially announced in the official paper on January 18,” said the statement.
“At the moment, the education process in the university is continuing uninterrupted and there is no problem with the winter session of examinations. We would like to note that the students will not face any problem as to resuming their study. Many of them had entered our university with a high score from the entrance examination. Therefore, there is no reason for these students and their parents to worry,” the statement said.
“Apart from this statement of ours regarding the liquidated Qafqaz University, any other information that does not refer to official sources are unfounded and thus cannot be relied upon,” said the statement.
