Some news organizations took an irresponsible decision to run with a false report, US Vice President-Elect Mike Pence said commenting on media reports saying that Russia allegedly had compromising materials on Donald Trump, APA reports quoting TASS.
According to Pence, it was "an irresponsible decision of a few news organizations to run with a false report."
CNN earlier reported citing some US officials, that senior intelligence officials had handed a synopsis over to Trump "to demonstrate that Russia had compiled information potentially harmful to both political parties, but only released information damaging to Hillary Clinton and Democrats."
