The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan commented on the detention of a chief accountant of the Kazakh Embassy in Belarus suspected on $0.68 million embezzlement, AKI press reported.
The Foreign Ministry said it helps police in probing the fraud reiterating its adherence to the principle of zero tolerance for corruption.
The detention of accountant Seydualiyev come to light on January 5.
Seydualiyev is suspected of kidnapping the budget funds in the amount of $681,883 during the years 2012-2015, said the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Kazakhstan.
