According to Hurriyet newspaper, the companies Asya Insaat A.S., Guclu Insaat Ltd and Ekodizayn Insaat Peyzaj Ltd brought a suit against Mardan Palace Hotel due to the fact that the contract did make the payment to these companies. Totally, the contractor is to pay over TRY 13 million.
The companies litigated in 2009 for the first time. The lawyers of the hotel claim that the amount has been exaggerated.
At the last hearing, the judge rejected the denial of the hotel. According to the decision of the court, Mardan Palace should pay TRY 14.7 million in total.
