Seven people having links with ISIL have been detained in Moscow. They are suspected of planning terrorist attacks in the Russian capital, RIA Novosti cited the Federal Security Service (FSB) as saying on Thursday.

The detainees were instructed by an ISIL member in Syria. During the detention, they were found carrying firearms, grenades, etc.

Another four people were detained by the FSB this month on suspicion of planning terrorist acts in Moscow. Investigators say the detainees had received instructions from another ISIL member who is hiding in Turkey and is wanted by Tajikistan.
