According to him, Azerbaijani president said at the last congress of world Azerbaijanis: “We must make special concessions to Azerbaijanis who live abroad and intend to invest in Azerbaijan”.
He noted that special customs and tax concessions should be made to Azerbaijanis who live abroad and intend to invest in Azerbaijan: “After the call by the president, the State Committee for Work with Diaspora should also hold meeting in this regard. Let’s join this issue and make amendments to the law in order to increase the number of those intending to invest in Azerbaijan”.
According to the amendment offered to the article #5.3, payment of the state duty by an Azerbaijani who live abroad applied to become Azerbaijani citizen is regulated by the Law on State Duty. Under the amendment offered to the article #6.2, the social assistance to the low-income Azerbaijanis living abroad will be provided under the rules set by the relevant executive body.
The draft amendments were adopted.
