President Ilham Aliyev sends congratulatory letter to Patriarch Kirill

Baku – APA. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia.

The congratulatory letter was read out by Azerbaijani Ambassador to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu at the meeting that took place between Patriarch Kirill and Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office, Sheikh-ul-Islam Haji Allahshukur Pashazade in Moscow Nov. 22.

The letter reads as follows:

“His Holiness, please accept my sincere congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of your 70th anniversary. Your high mission, aimed at promoting universal values, peace and harmony, and strengthening inter-religious dialogue, intercultural and inter-civilizational relations, has earned you great authority and respect. Azerbaijan highly appreciates your contribution to the strengthening of friendly and good-neighborly relations between Azerbaijan and Russia, as well as to the development of inter-religious dialogue between the two nations. On this remarkable day, I sincerely wish you robust health and success in all your endeavors.”
