Baku - APA. The chief editor of "Azadlig" newspaper [currently lives in France] Ganimat Zahid’s nephew Rufat Zahidov and his cousin Rovshan Zahidov appealed to the Interior Ministry and the media, APA reports.
Rovshan and Rufat Zahidovs wrote in their letterthat they repudiate their relative Ganimat Zahid.
R. Zahidov asked to erase the name of his cousin, Ganimat Zahid, indicated as a close relative of his personal data: “This man is a blot, discrediting me and my family. Also I add that I ask the media to remove my name from the compiled Ganimat Zahid and his opposition party comrades false list of "prisoners of conscience". Me and my family support, and will always support the policy pursued by our President Ilham Aliyev. We have always expressed, and will express their true words against his homeland such unloving humans as Ganimat Zahid”.
Nephew of Ganimat Zahid, Zahidov Rufat Feraset oglu, also made a similar statement.
They reported that they were not subjected to any pressure to write this appeal.
