Baku. Mubariz Aslanov – APA. Speaking at the OSCE international conference on Tolerance and Diversity in Berlin Oct. 26, Chairman of the All-Ukrainian organization Assembly of Nationalities of Ukraine (ANU) Rovshan Tagiyev expressed concern over the military aggression committed against Ukraine and Azerbaijan.

The conference was attended by OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier as well as officials from 57 countries.

Tagiyev noted that both Ukraine and his homeland Azerbaijan are suffering from military aggression, and though long time passed, the OSCE has not yet been able to achieve any results, ANU press service told APA.

“Today, the world community is focusing on the Syrian crisis. However, the fate of millions of people who have become refugees as a result of recent conflict in eastern Ukraine is not highlighted. Why?” said the ANU chairman. “My homeland Azerbaijan is marking the 25th anniversary of its independence. However, Azerbaijan has been suffering from military aggression for more than 20 years.”

During a meeting with Steinmeier, Tagiyev called on the OSCE to be active in the settlement of regional conflicts.
