First World Forum of Azerbaijani businessmen postponed

Baku. Mubariz Aslanov – APA. The fist World Forum of Azerbaijani businessmen, scheduled to be held in Baku Oct. 28-29, has been postponed, the State Committee for Work with Diaspora said in a statement to APA on Oct. 18.

It was decided to hold the event at an appropriate time, reads the statement.

“The State Committee informs that upon the release of official information about the holding of the first World Forum of Azerbaijani businessmen, the Organizing Committee received numerous appeals from many countries. In their appeals, our compatriots, who are engaged in entrepreneurship abroad, have offered a lot of ideas and proposals related to the program of the forum, the issues on the agenda and the documents to be adopted at the forum,” said the statement.

“The Organizing Committee, having carefully considered all the appeals and proposals received, decided to hold the event in an expanded format. Given all this, the Organizing Committee considered it expedient to postpone the first World Forum of Azerbaijani businessmen and to hold it at an appropriate time,” the statement said.
