Balakan. Vugar Heydarov-APA. Four were killed in a traffic accident in Balakan region of Azerbaijan on the 147th km of Yevlakh-Zagatala-Georgia boundary highway.
The accident took place at 05:00 a.m in the morning in the Gazma village of Balaken region, APA’s Shaki-Zagatala bureau reports.
An unidentified driver of “Peugeot” at high speed slammed into a tree losing the control over the vehicle that caused a fiery crash that left 4 people dead.
The car broke into several pieces from the impact. As a result of the accident the driver and his three passengers died on the spot.
It is reported that the bodies of four men sent to the Balakan district department of the Health Ministry's Forensic Medical Examination and Pathological Anatomy Union.
Authorities were still working to identify the dead.
