Baku-APA. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of Mingachevir City Museum of History, APA reports.
The head of state was informed that the museum occupies an area of 810 square metres.
The museum features a photo section reflecting life and activity of national leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev, and their role in the country`s development.
There are a 50-seat conference and two exhibition halls in the museum, whose collection includes 16,000 exhibits, of them 400 on display.
