Baku. Shahriyar Alizadeh – APA. An appeal has been filed against the court verdict on Natiq Jafarli, the imprisoned executive secretary of REAL movement.
Attorney Javad Javadli said in a statement to APA that the appeal has been submitted to the Baku Court of Appeal.
On 12 August Jafarli was called to the Investigation Department for Grave Crimes of the Prosecutor General’s Office. Then he was taken to Nasimi district court which sentenced him to four months’ pretrial detention.
He is charged with illegal business (Article 192) and abusing official powers (Article 308).
