Absheron District Police Department told APA that the incident was recorded in Khirdalan city.
6-year-old city resident Ramila Abdulkhaligova’s body was found with injuries in the street. The child’s mother Samira Nariyeva told the police his daughter was hit by a car. Investigation revealed that the girl was murdered, but not hit by a car.
As a result of measures taken, previously convicted Elnur Hajiyev was arrested. Hajiyev acknowledged that he beat the girl to death.
Criminal case was launched on the fact, investigation is underway.
