Istanbul. Mais Alizadeh-APA. No member of the Azerbaijani Airlines AZAL has suffered as a result of the terrorist attack on the Istanbul Ataturk International Airport.
AZAL representation in the Ataturk airport told APA that the incident occurred at the airport entrance, in front of the reception desk, designed for passengers AZAL, Aeroflot and other airlines.
The terrorist opened fire first, and then blew himself up.
"Our employees had retired from the territory. No one wounded. To our information, no members of Aeroflot were wounded”, - said the representative of AZAL.
The representative also pointed out that at present the plane of AZAL is awaiting permission to take off from Ataturk Airport: “Our passengers are on the plane”.
Note that now also delayed landing of Russian Aeroflot to the Ataturk airport.
