Baku. Ilkin Ahmadov –APA. “Today, the aircraft of Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) was supposed to fly to Baku from Istanbul's Ataturk Airport at 23.30 by Baku time. The explosion occurred after our passengers completed the registration”, - AZAL`s spokesman Pasha Kasamansk told APA.
According to him, the explosion occurred in a considerable distance from the rack to the AZAL passengers: “No dead or wounded among our passengers”.
P. Kasamanski noted that AZAL aircraft could not fly because of the suspension of the flight after the incident.
"Employees AZAL in Istanbul show all the necessary assistance to passengers," - he said, noting that the plane parallel to the suspended flight Turkish Airlines Baku Istambul.
