18 persons with credit debts attempted to commit suicide after second devaluation in Azerbaijan

Baku. Konul Kamilgizi – APA. After the second devaluation of Azerbaijani manat’s rate, some 18 people in the country with credit debts attempted to commit suicide, two of them died. 

 

Six persons with acetic acid poisoning were admitted to the hospital in February this year, Azer Magsudov, the head of the Toxicology Department for Clinical Medical Center told APA. 

 

 “They had credit debts. It was impossible to save the lives of two. Eight patients were hospitalized with the same poisoning in March. Such cases decreased in April. Only four patients were admitted to the hospital with acetic acid poisoning in April- May,” he said.
