Isfahan Governor: Iran ready to cooperate with Azerbaijani businessmen in tourism field

Isfahan. Suleyman Farzaliyev – APA. Iran and Azerbaijan will enhance cooperation in the tourism field, Governor of Iran’s Isfahan province Rasoul Zargarpour told APA.

Zargarpour said he invited Azerbaijan's officials and businessmen engaged in tourism to Isfahan and noted that the province is interested in development of tourism cooperation with Azerbaijani businessmen.

“There is a great potential for joint cooperation between Iran and Azerbaijan due to cultural, religious and historical ties. The two countries can cooperate in cultural, tourism, medical and other fields. Currently the development of friendly and brotherly relations with Azerbaijan is a priority for Iran. Isfahan is not only the cultural capital of the Islamic world, but the whole world is interested in tourism regions of Isfahan today. There are more than 1,000 cultural heritage sites and 90 tourism zones in Isfahan,” said Zargarpour.
