Date of IV Global Baku Forum announced

The forum to be organized by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center with the support of State Committee on Work with Diaspora will bring together a number of heads of state and government, and well-known political figures, the committee told APA.

The officials of Albania, Latvia, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Montenegro, Croatia and Georgia have already stated that they are planning to attend the 4th Global Baku Forum.

The Club of Madrid, the Inter-Action Council and the Library of Alexandria are the partners of the forum on “Towards a multipolar world”. About 300 representatives, including a number of influential political and public figures are expected to attend the forum.

The forum will discuss ethnic, religious and political conflicts in the world, development of democracy, global issues in education, environment and energy security, and solutions to these problems.

Baku hosted 1st, 2nd and 3rd Global Shared Societies Forums in 2013, 2014 and 2015. The meetings were attended by a number of influential political and public figures of the world. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev participated in each forum as well.
