The festival brought together professional filmmakers from various countries, The Azerbaijani European Society (TEAS) told APA.

According to the filmmakers, the awarding of the documentary Endless Corridor in the Milan festival is a good opportunity to bring to the world community realities of the Khojaly tragedy.

The premiere of the documentary was held on July 1. The impressive Milan IFF 2015 film festival put the film on the display in “Best Short Film”, “Best Cinematography in a Documentary” and “Best Documentary Editing” nominations.

Brokas expressed his joy for the documentary’s international success: “It is a great honor for me to receive these awards. The jury focused on exceptional creative and technical quality of the Endless Corridor film. I owe my gratitude to the film crew and the Khojaly residents who shared their tragic stories with me. Such a great international attention to the documentary indicates that no one can be indifferent to the stories narrated in the film. Painful lessons of history should be finally studied, lessons should be taken from them and Khojaly tragedy should never be repeated.”

As part of the Justice for Khojaly campaign, the presentation of "Endless Corridor" has been held in Istanbul, Ankara, Rome, Vilnius, London, Paris, Dublin, Berlin, Bern and Luxembourg. Originally in English, the documentary was translated into Azerbaijani, Turkish, French, Italian, and German for subtitles and dubbed into Russian.
