He said an enquiry in this regard has been sent to law enforcement agencies in Turkey.
“The consulate is in contact with concerned bodies to find out whether she is an Azerbaijani citizen or not. In spite of her Azerbaijani background, she may be a citizen of another country too. We are awaiting their response,” he said.
Note that, 97 people were killed and hundreds of others injured in the terrifying suicide bombing in Ankara on 10 October. 21 ISIL members who are suspected of perpetuating the bombing have been named and their photos have been released. One of the suspects, Ulker Mammadova, is believed to be an Azerbaijani.
