Baku. Vusal Nabiyev – APA-Economics. As a result of information received by the State Control Service for Technical Regulation and Standardization under the State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents of Azerbaijan Republic, an enterprise engaged in production of school uniforms, owned by Abbasova Irada Ali and operating in Mustafa Vekilov st. in Bakikhanov settlement of Sabunchu district, was controlled.
The Committee told APA-Economics that during the investigation it was found out that, uniforms produced under the sign of “Uluxanli” are being put on sale without documents confirming safety and quality. The production is being carried out without technological guidance and measuring instruments didn’t undergo comparative testing. The enterprise was not provided with a laboratory and it has no contract with any accredited laboratory. The enterprise didn’t either obtain a certificate of compliance indicating quality and safety. It was revealed that the enterprise is producing fake school uniforms using "BTE" trademark of Baki Tikis Evi (Baku sewing house).
The investigation is underway on the fact.
