The female athlete, who won the gold medal by outdoing her rivals from China and Taiwan with differences of point, said she would come back to Azerbaijan again in future.
“People here are very frank and hospitable. I got to know a lot of athletes here and made new friends. The competition had been organized well enough. To tell the truth, this small town – despite being far away from the capital – drew my attention with its modernity. Modern social facilities, hotels, recreational centers and sports venues are indicative of Gabala’s rapid development in future,” said Arunovich.
