Baku – APA. The Central Election Commission (CEC) hosted on Thursday a seminar dedicated to preparation, adoption, consideration and publication of financial reports of political parties.
Media and public relations department of the CEC Secretariat told APA that representatives of CEC and relevant government agencies delivered speeches regarding requirements for financial reports of political parties, their submission to relevant authorities, consideration and publication; role, rights and responsibilities of an independent auditor in preparation of annual financial reports of political parties, requirements for an auditor's opinion and report, financial documents of the statement, as well as responsibility for violation of the provisions of law on financial accountability at the event held as part of the CEC awareness program.
The seminar continued with various discussions on financial reports of political parties. Representatives of relevant structural units of the CEC Secretariat and government agencies attended the event.
