Baku. Javid Zeynalli – APA. As the summer season begins, the number of tours of Azerbaijani citizens to foreign countries as is growing, the information and PR department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism told APA.
In this regard, the ministry warns that citizens have to make sure whether or not the travel company via which they decide to travel abroad has a valid license given by the ministry for tourism activity. The ministry also recommends citizens demand a tourist voucher and the company to sign a contract with them in compliance with the requirements of Article 9.1 of the law of Azerbaijan.
Those who plan to make travel visits to regions of Azerbaijan are recommended to choose facilities which are licensed by the ministry for hotel activity.
Furthermore, the ministry recommends that citizens call (012) 492 88 50 or send an e-mail to muraciet@mct.gov.az if they encounter any problem associated with tourism companies and tourism facilities.
