Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. 4 more people have been arrested over the fires that occurred in Baku’s Binagadi and Khatai districts at separate times.
According to the prosecutor general’s office, common investigation into the criminal case launched by the Emergencies Ministry’s Operational-Investigative Office over the fire accident that broke out in a 9-storey residential building which is situated in 16 Zigh highway street, Khatai district, Baku, on 10 April 2015 and whose façade had been covered with poliuretan material by TNH Company and the criminal case launched by the Prosecutor General’s Office’s investigative department on grave crimes over the fire accident that occurred in a residential building in Binagadi district is continuing.
With investigative actions of inspection, search and seizure on the criminal case, necessary materials on TNH Company’s activities and the quality and manufacturing technologies of products it produces, as well as other materials of particular importance to the case have been seized as material evidence.
Over causing financial damage to residential building located in Khatai district and its occupants by infringing the fire safety rules, manager of TNH company and carried out works Farid Sadigov, company’s director Zaur Ashrafov, Deputy Director for construction works Nusrat Mukhtarov were sentenced to 4-month imprisonment under articles #225.2 (infringement of fire safety rules which on imprudence brought to death of a victim or other heavy consequences) and #308.2 (abusing official powers entailed heavy consequences) of the Criminal Code.
At the same time, Gazanfar Novruzov, who was the deputy head of Executive Power of BInagadi District in 2012-2013 and had to control facing buildings with the polyurethane was sentenced to 4-month imprisonment under the same articles.
