Murder of 5 Azerbaijanis committed in Minsk 15 years ago still unrevealed

APA reports quoting naviny.by that only witness of the incident Tarlan Aliyev stated he does not believe that the former police officer Valiery Ignatyevich and his team, who was investigated, is related to this incident.

On March 22, 2000, Irina Aghayeva, her brother Shamil, their guests Khatira and Elkhan Nasibovs and their daughter five-year-old girl have been murdered. Three-year-old Nargiz Nasibova survived.

T. Aliyev noted that Nasibovs assembled to celebrate Novruz holiday. T. Aliyev has been invited to the by his Armenian familiars and not been at home for some hours. When he returned home he found everyone murdered except three-year-old girl.

The version, that the murderer intended to kill Aliyev, has also been considered. He was temporarily detained till July. According to him, he was detained to prevent his murder as he survived. The neighbors saw police officer V. Ignatyevich’s car in front of the building. Though, it’s supposed that Ignatyevich and his team are related to this murder, they were released as lack of evidence.
