Baku – APA-Economics. One of main cigarette producers in Azerbaijan “European Tobacco-Baku” OJSC has clarified the price changes in tobacco products.
The OJSC told APA-Economics that the price changes are related to increase of excise: “According to amendments made to the Tax Code of Azerbaijan, the excise of tobacco products has been increased since March 1. This amendment also influenced wholesale and retail sale price of the tobacco products”.
“European Tobacco-Baku” OJSC was established in 1999. The OJSC has been in operation since February 1, 2000.
Jointly with British American tobacco ad Imperial Tobacco Group companies, the “European Tobacco-Baku” OJSC produces Viceroy and Prima De Luxe cigarettes.
