Right after the final show, points given to performers by each jury will be announced. Thus, the spectators will witness that everything is in accordance with the rules”, Manager Communications & PR for the Eurovision Song Contest Sietse Bakker told APA.

He noted that the Copenhagen Mayor’s Office and television are successfully cooperating to hold this year’s contest at a high level. “The arena to host the shows is a shipyard. This is the only probable place where a large number of spectators can assemble and watch the live contest. The shipyard has been undergone all necessary improvements to be able to host three state-of-the-art television shows. I must note that we are too much pleased with the achieved result. For this particular reason, Azerbaijan built a new place to host the contest. But till the last moment, we were concerned whether preparations would complete or not. Subsequently, the European spectators enjoyed watching three unforgettable, error-free live shows. Europeans do not lose interest for this contest as it brings together lots of people from across Europe. Eurovision is a music holiday. Spectators’ interest in the first semi-final show yesterday proved it”.

Sietse Bakker stressed that this year, all the participants share the same chances of winning, there’s no distinct favorite, and the result will be related to the performances on the day of final show. He also noted along with the countries refused participating, there are countries which returned to the contest after a while.
