Advisor of Musavat Party chairman Yadigar Sadigov sentenced to 6-year imprisonment

APA’s south bureau reports that at the hearing presided over by judge Elchin Kazimov, the defendant’s lawyer Khalid Bagirov demanded Yadigar Sadigov’s release.

Thereafter, Yadigar Sadigov made a speech and said he is not guilty.

The court took a break. After break, the court passed a judgment to sentence Y. Sadigov to 6 years in prison.

The public prosecutor demanded 7-year imprisonment for Yadigar Sadigov in a common jail.

Yadigar Sadigov was detained by Lankaran police on June 27 because of the appeal of Rashid Karimov, the 2nd group Garabakh disabled. Rashid Karimov claimed that he was beaten by Yadigar Sadigov and the other two persons near tea-house in Javanshir street, Lankaran on June 25.
