International Healthcare, Stomatology and Beauty and Aesthetic Medicine exhibitions kick off in Baku

Addressing the opening of the exhibition, Deputy Minister of Health Elsavar Aghayev said that to hold a healthcare exhibition in Azerbaijan in autumn has already become a tradition.

According to him, interest in this experience supported by the Health Ministry every year is increasing and its scale is expanding: “116 companies from 17 countries are participating in the exhibition. The healthcare exhibition is important in terms of establishing cooperation between medical representatives and conducting exchange of mutual views between organizations. Along with all spheres in the country, successful development has been achieved in the health sphere. Over the last six years, more than 500 medical centers in Azerbaijan were rebuilt, overhauled and provided with modern equipments.”

President of Azerbaijan Stomatology Association Rena Aliyeva also said that the healthcare exhibition is of great importance. According to her, equipments for oral hygiene, dental equipments, the recent technologies for implantology and teeth whitening are being demonstrated at the Stomatology Exhibition.

Director of Iteca Caspian LLC Edward Strachan said that the number of participants increased by 20% this year: “For the first time, the Medical tourism section covering more than 20 countries will function as a part of the exhibition. The Medical tourism section is organized with the support of the World Medical Tourism Association and Medical Tourism Association of Turkey.”

The exhibitions organized by Iteca Caspian LLC and ITE Group PLC are supported by the Ministry of Health, Azerbaijan Stomatology Association, National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO).
