Balaken. Vugar Heydarov – APA. Today, a group of participants of the international bicycle tour have arrived in Azerbaijan from Mazimchay customs post in Balaken Region. APA reports that the bicycle tour which is supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sport started on July 20 from Brussels, Belgium.
On the initiative of veteran bicyclists, the participants of the tour arrived in Azerbaijan crossing through Germany, Turkey and Georgia. On this occasion, welcome ceremony was held in Mazimchay post.
According to Balalken Region Youth and Sport Department, from the second half of the day, the participants of the tour will visit historical monuments, reconstruction works in Balaken and open nature museum in the city.
The participants will leave for Baku through Shaki-Ismayilli-Shamakhi tomorrow. The international tour will end in front of the Heydar Aliyev Monument in Baku.
