Azerbaijani weightlifter becomes champion of Universiade - <span style="color: red;">PHOTOSESSION

Baku-APA. Today, Azerbaijani weightlifter Firudin Guliyev has become the winner of the 27th Summer Universiade held in Kazan, APA rpoerts quoting the press service of the Ministry of Youth and Sport of Azerbaijan.

Firudin Guliyev showed the best result among the contenders in the weight category up to 69 kg (142 kg + 18kg).

In this weight category, silver and bronze medals were won respectively by the Iranian weightlifter Jabir Bahruz (147 kg + 174 kg) and French King Matam (140 kg + 175 kg).

Another Azerbaijani weightlifter Yuri Duboglo competing in the weight category up to 69 kg, won the 7th place with a score of 298 kg (133 kg + 165 kg).
