No one is going to remove the art of Azerbaijani tar performing from the list and it will be impossible,” Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev told journalists while commenting on Iran’s objection to the inclusion of the art of Azerbaijani Tar performing into the UNESCO Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
According to the minister, it is just views of the various scientists: “There may be different opinions. The people, who think similarly, can put forward various views. But the international organization has already passed a decision. Certain explanations have been given against their opinions. No one is going to remove the art of Azerbaijani tar performing from the list. If any country thinks that it made many contributions to the art of performing, it can also appeal as Azerbaijan did.”
