Nizami Ganjavi’s poems including Khamsa published in Azerbaijani in one book for the fist time
The Heydar Aliyev Foundation told APA that 5 poems including Khamsa in new presentation on the initiative of president of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva was decorated with illustrations, which were taken from the Nizami Ganjavi Museum of Azerbaijan Literature of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
With the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Executive Power of Ganja city «Khamsa", has been published in a new format.
The bulk of the book consists of five publications. The poems in "Khamsa" have been included into each book. The new translation of "Khosrow and Shirin" poem in Azerbaijani language is in Aruz style and has been presented in accordance with the requirements of the modern Azerbaijani language.
The history of mouselem erected on the grave of the great poet is also being studied in the book of " The history and fate of Nizami mausoleum" which is also among the new editions. The poor condition of the mausoleum because of Iran, the Ottoman Empire and Russian Empire policy in the Caucasus as well as restoration its process and interestig facts about the work done in this field have been reflected in the book.
During the activity of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, different works of the classics are being publised .Nizami’s creative manifesto-"Khamsa" can be considered as a successful project of polygraphic publication. This is a worthy contribution to the 870-year anniversary of the founder of a new genre of romantic epic poetry in the world, a brilliant representative of the Oriental renaissance, philosopher and poet Nizami Ganjavi.
