Heads of governments of foreign countries send letter of congratulation to participants of Caspian Oil & Gas-2011 exhibition

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov – APA-Economics. Prime Minister of the United Kingdom David Cameron has addressed a letter of congratulation to the participants of the 18th International Caspian Oil & Gas Exhibition and Conference Incorporating Refining & Petrochemicals. According to APA-Economics, the letter was read by Carolyn Brown, UK ambassador to Azerbaijan at the opening ceremony of exhibition.

Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Hulusi Kilic has read the Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s letter. Congratulating Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of exhibition Erdogan noted that, Turkey-Azerbaijan Energy Cooperation plays an important role in Europe’s energy safety.

EU Energy Commissioner Günther Oettinger has read EU Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso’s letter. The letter expresses that, integrated South Corridor will be founded and the stability in the region will be saved, soon.

Crown Prince Haakon (Norwegian prince) noted that, he was satisfied with current close relation between SOCAR and Statoil Companies. HE appreciated the establishment of SOFAZ’s establishment: “Caspian Sea has started to play more important role in the energy market of the world”.

Georgian Energy Minister Alexander Khateguri has read President Mikhail Saakashvili’s letter.
