Baku to host international tourism exhibition tomorrow

The exhibition will last until April 30. Today, a press conference was held by Organizer Company.

According to APA-Economics, 230 companies of 24 countries representing 61 routes will attend the exhibition: “most of companies will attend the exhibition for the first time”.

According to Aydin Ismiyev, chief of the Tourism Office of the Ministry of Culture & Tourism of Azerbaijan, the 2nd All-Republican Internal Tourism Exhibitions will be held within the AITF-2011: “83 hotel complexes representing Azerbaijan’s 15 cities and regions will attend the exhibition”. He also noted that, 6 five-star hotels would be launched in Azerbaijan, in 2011.

AITF-2011 project manager Mrs. Khayal Aliyeva spoke about the exhibitions and noted that, the exposition area and participants of this year’s exhibition rose 25% compared to 2010: “Greek, Georgian, Indian, Mauritius, Turkish, Lithuanian, Russian, Egyptian and Czech national stands will be demonstrated at this year’s exhibition”
