Georgia plans to send its sappers to Azerbaijan for training

Baku. Rashad Suleimanov – APA. Georgian Defense Ministry plans to send some sapper groups to Azerbaijan for training and professional development. General Headquarters of Georgian Armed Forces informed APA.
The ministry spokesman informed that a number of sapper officers had visited Azerbaijan in 2009. The Azerbaijani specialists hosted for them the internships on humanitarian mine clearing, neutralizing of the unexploded ammunition, and application of the modern technologies: For the purpose of support Georgia, the Azerbaijani side undertook to host the trainings. Our specialists are the masters in mine clearing”.
It should be noted, ANAMA (Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action) conducts the trainings for Georgian sappers.
