Ramin Musayev: Sultani demanded award for biased refereeing
He presented the participants a disk with records the phone talk. The records confirmed Musayev’s statements. Sultani was to get $30,000 for biased refereeing. Musayev said they have presented the disk to AFFA.
“You got the disk yesterday at 17.00 but we couldn’t conduct to any AFFA representative. We have presented it today. In original record the talkers name footballer. But I will not name himâ€, he said.
Musayev said the club will appeal to the law-enforcement bodies if the appeal is not considered.
“We had protested against Imankhan before the match. I met with AFFA president Ramiz Mirzeyev. He told me that all misunderstanding will be considered after the match. We will appeal to law and enforcement bodies if AFFA doesn’t carry out investigationâ€, he said. Neftchi vice-president demands Sultani’s punishment.
“If it is possible, we want to play with Olimpik again. But we don’t demand it. We just want Sultani to be punished for biased refereeingâ€, he underscored.
Musayev said Sultani was biased in several matches before.
“He was biased against Neftchi in national cup semi-final match with MKT-Araz in April. We appealed to AFFA that time and asked not to assign him to our games in the future. Referees’ Committee chief Ali Huseynov promised me not to assign him. I think Huseynov’s was absent in the event when Sultani received assignment to the match with Olimpikâ€, he said.
Musayev didn’t say how they got the disk.
“We cannot say how we got the disk. We are interested in anonymityâ€, he noted. /APA-Sport/
