Baku-APA. Thousands of Greeks took to the streets as US President Barack Obama arrived in Athens as part of his final foreign trip, which also includes stops in Germany and Peru, APA reports quoting Sputnik.

Anti-Obama protesters and Greek police have clashed in Athens during Obama's visit after some demostrators threw Molotov cocktails.

Riot police fired tear gas at protesters in Athens near the presidential mansion where Obama was hosted for an official banquet.
