Chairman of the parliamentary Committee on economic policy, industry, and entrepreneurship Ziyad Samadzade spoke about the draft law.

The amendment has to do with single entry visas issued by Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan’s diplomatic missions to foreign countries.

Required for formalization of single entry visas so far was 50 dollars.

The amendment proposes 20 dollars instead.

Another amendment suggests payment of 20 dollars for formalization of tourism visas and students studying on the basis of individual contract, 20 dollars for formalization of single entry transit visas, and 40 dollars for formalization of double transit visas.

Samadzade said the fixed duty for formalization of all types of visas will be 20 dollars.

The draft law was put to the vote and approved.
