The list includes 11 reporters of Azerbaijani media, including APA Information Agency’s Moscow correspondent Farid Akbarov.

According to the information, the blacklisted reporters are accredited in the separatist Donetsk People’s Republic and Luhansk People’s Republic, and they are banned from entering Ukraine because of having visited these two regions.

APA Holding LLC announces that the claims made by the Ukrainian website are baseless. APA’s Moscow correspondent Farid Akbarov, who is accredited in Russia’s Foreign Ministry, is not registered in the separatist Donetsk People’s Republic and Luhansk People’s Republic.

In fact, the list published on the Ukrainian website is comprised of foreign correspondents accredited in the Russian Foreign Ministry and can be found on the ministry’s official website (http://www.mid.ru/accredited).

The list provides the telephone numbers and registered addresses of the foreign correspondents.

APA Holding LLC announces that APA Information Agency does not support any separatist movement and has no correspondent accredited in separatist regions.

The holding hopes that the website Mirotvorec and Ukraine’s concerned bodies will take necessary action to end the misunderstanding.
