Armenia continues to violate ceasefire with Azerbaijan

Baku - APA. Armenian armed forces have violated the ceasefire with Azerbaijan 18 times in various directions along the contact line of troops over the last 24 hours, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said on May 24.

Armenian armed units stationed in the Voskevan village of Armenia’s Ijevan district shelled the positions of Azerbaijani armed forces located in the Gushchu Ayrim village of Azerbaijan's Gazakh district.

Azerbaijani army positions located in the Munjuglu village of the Tovuz district came under fire from the Armenian positions located on nameless heights and in the Aygedzor village of the Berd district.

Meanwhile, Armenian army opened fire from positions near the Goyarkh village of the Tartar district, the Kuropatkino village of the Khojavand district, the Garakhanbeyli, Horadiz villages of the Fuzuli district, as well as on nameless heights in the districts of Goranboy, Khojavand and Fuzuli.
